ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT

Group energy accounting

Energy per unit measured at consumption and reported across sites against benchmark.

01WHAT WE MONITOR

Energy at group level is usually invoice arithmetic: what was spent, by site, last month. It cannot tell you which line consumed it, whether consumption per tonne rose or fell, or which plant is worst.

We meter at the point of consumption — line, utility, major equipment — and report normalised to output. Specific energy per tonne, per unit, per square metre, whichever the industry runs on. Then we benchmark across sites and against the plant's own best historical performance.

Compressed air, refrigeration and steam generation are usually where the first findings sit, because they are shared services nobody owns and therefore nobody measures.

02HOW WE ENGAGE
Nothing here is sold from a shelf

Two plants running the same process need different instrumentation, so we survey before we specify and specify before we price. Tell us about the facility and we will come back with a scope stating what is supplied and where our responsibility ends.
