A group that has instrumented its plants over ten years usually has ten different monitoring systems, because each was chosen by whoever was running that site at the time. Each holds good data. None of it aggregates.
We build the layer above them rather than replacing them. Existing systems are read through whatever they can export — OPC, Modbus, a database view, a file drop — and normalised into common measures at group level. Where a site has no monitoring worth reading, we say so rather than pretending an estimate is a measurement.
The output is one live view across the portfolio where every figure drills to the site, the line and ultimately the sensor. That last part is what makes it usable in a board meeting: a number nobody can trace is a number somebody will dispute.
