Illumination and ventilation are statutory factory requirements and the two most commonly failed on inspection, because neither degrades visibly. Fittings dim, fans lose capacity, and layouts change without anyone remeasuring.
We measure lux at the task plane rather than at the fitting, against what the work actually requires, and assess ventilation for air change rate and effectiveness at the point where contaminant is generated. The report identifies where the shortfall is and what would correct it, at the granularity of a workstation.
