Some motor faults are invisible to vibration. Broken rotor bars, stator winding problems and air gap eccentricity show in the current signature while producing little mechanical symptom until they are advanced.
We capture and analyse the current signature at the starter, without accessing the motor or interrupting production, and identify rotor, stator, air gap and load related faults. It is particularly useful for motors that are inaccessible or continuously running, which are usually the ones that matter most and get inspected least.
