CONDITION MONITORING AND RELIABILITY

Oil analysis and tribology

Lubricant condition, wear debris and contamination analysis interpreted against history.

01WHAT WE MONITOR

Oil analysis reveals two things: the condition of the lubricant and the condition of the machine it came from. Most programmes report the first and ignore the second, which is where the value sits.

We analyse viscosity, contamination, water content and wear debris, and interpret against the equipment's own history rather than against a generic limit. Wear particle morphology identifies which component is degrading. A rising iron count with no change in viscosity is a different problem from both rising together, and a report that does not distinguish them is a table of numbers.

02HOW WE ENGAGE
Nothing here is sold from a shelf

Two plants running the same process need different instrumentation, so we survey before we specify and specify before we price. Tell us about the facility and we will come back with a scope stating what is supplied and where our responsibility ends.
